An item reported Delfzijl the 14th reported the departure the same day from the shipyard of E.J. Smit&Zoon at Hoogezand of the newly built tug Erik Ask captain C.R. Damelsen towards Skien, Norway. She was fitted out with a 176 ihp compound engine.
