Denmark no longer needed hired cargo ships according to the Dutch newspaper Leydse courant dated 6 March 1850

An item dated Copenhagen 28th February reported that the Danish cabinet allowed a number of sailors engaged for service in the navy to go to the merchant marine. Further more was the owners of the by the government hired cargo ships told that their ships were no longer needed. The newspaper thought that this was sign that the armistice was extended.(1)
