Sold on an auction Monday 16 October 1769 in the Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement at Amsterdam the whaler De 3 Gezusters. This extra ordinary seaworthy sailing fluyt ship had as master Roelof Outman and was newly fitted out in 1763. Her dimensions were 109 x 29’3’ x 12’10” in Amsterdam foot. Costs ƒ 13.000, with and adjudication of ƒ 150. G. de Myn on behalf of his master. Roelof Outman Rokus Verschoor was a commandeur in the Strait Davis whale-fishery. He sailed in 1769 in service of Pieter Lont en Leendert Hoop at Amsterdam. His results were 1 whale, 30 barrels whale-blubber and 41 quardelen train-oil.
