An announcement reported that the brokers A. van Vloten, H. Snyders, W. Haverkorn Willemsz and G. Blancke intended to sell on an auction on Monday 8 October in the Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement at Amsterdam an extra ordinary well sailing fluytship Vryheit, commandeur Fredrik Janse Borst with as dimensions 117 x 29’10’x 12’5”x, height verdeck 6’6 ½’and the steering platform 9’4” and all the whale catchers tools property of the commandeur.
