This
fluytship was sold on Monday 28 September 1772 in the Nieuwezyds
Heeren Logement at Amsterdam. Newly fitted out in 1756. Dimensions in Amsterdam
foot 113 x 29’10”x 13’1”, height verdeck 7, S 9’2”. Last commandeur was
Cornelis Vriesman.(1) Prize ƒ 9,000, subcharge ƒ 1,200, T. Beth Ysbrandsz for
his master.

Van Sante mentioned Cornelis Vriesman commandeur on a Davis Strait whaler for
directors Simon and Cornelis Hottentot of Oostzaan in 1772 with as results 7
whales, 324 barrels of whale blubber and 423 quardelen train oil.
