Movements of British navy ships according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 23 November 1825

London, 18 November. Within some day’s general Bourke will departed on board of HMS Ranger towards Cape of Good Hope to full fill the appointment as lieutenant governor. HMS frigate Scylla which was lying at Carthagena was harassed by the yellow fever, her commanding officer captain Russell, the 1st  lieutenant, 2 midshipmen, the clerk, 3 physicians and 15 men were sick, lucky enough some officers and around 50 sailors were recovering from their sickness.
