The French naval shipbuilding program according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland: staat- en letterkundig nieuwsblad evening edition dated 9 June 1939

According to a tiding coming from Paris ordered the Department of Navy the building at French shipyards of 14 small vessels including 4 destroyers of the Mogador and Volta design with a displacement of around 3,000 ton, a speed of more as 40 knots and armed with 8-13,8cm guns and 10 torpedo tubes, further more 6 torpedo boats of around 1,000 ton (?) and 4 minesweepers of 600 ton.
