Spanish naval strength according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 9 January 1852

An item reported that the Spanish navy consisted of 3 ships of the line, 5 frigates, 6 corvettes, 25 brigs and schooners, 27 steamboats, 45 launches and 75 smaller vessels, totally 186 units.
