The Dutch king was present at the launching of the bark ship Koning Willem III at the yard of De Boot at Amsterdam. In the edition dated Saturday 7 April was reported that the labourers of shipbuilder F.F. Groen got a donation from the king through mr. J.D. Cramer due to the contentment of the king with the launching.
