The Brazilian, Colombian, Egyptian, Greek and Turkish navies according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 28 September 1824

Samos, 29 July. The Greek government decided according to the rumours to send a fleet to assist Samos.

Napoli-di-Romania, 1 August. A hundred ships were ordered to sail towards the Egyptian fleet and other 30 were destined towards Samos.

Hydra, 10 August. Admiral Miaulis wrote to the admiralty at Hydra that they arrived at Ipsara 14 July. The next day they attacked taking with 30 men of each ship for the landing. Some of the Turkish managed to escape from the slaughter reaching the bank taking 40 gunboats trying to escape to Chios pursued by Greek ships. 15 Gunboats were captured, 25 with all men on board destroyed. Miaulis left 3 Greek brigs behind at Ipsara and sailed towards Mitylene.

London, 24 September. At Baltimore arrived a Colombian war brig where commodore Daniel was fitting out a squadron destined to bring the reinforcements for the army of Bolivar towards Chagrea. According to the newspapers of Rio Janeiro left Lord Cochrane 3 August with some Brazilian warships and 2.000 soldiers on board for Pernambuco and after landing this troops blockade that harbour. His division consisted of a ship of the line, 1 frigate, 1 brig and 2 transports.
