Odessa, 15 July. From Constantinople arrived in six days some ships without new tidings dealing with the fleet of the Captain Pasha. Frankfurt, 3 August. The Greek squadron stationed in the Gulf of Patras seized several neutral ships which didn’t accept the blockade. Admiral Hamilton came from Malta to negotiate between the Greeks and the masters of these ships. Hamilton confirmed the fact the ships were good prizes and that the Greeks had to right o pursue all ships which ignored the blockade to pursue within a distance of 10 miles of the Ionian islands.
