American whaler Corinthian lying in November at Honolulu according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 26 December 1865

An item referred to the letter written by captain Lewis on board of the Corinthian of New Bedford reported her lying on 7 November at Honolulu returned from the Arctic. Her catch consisted since the start of her cruise 11 months ago from Honolulu of 325 barrels sperm oil, 1.050 whale oil and 19.000 lbs. bone. Since the last 38 months was her catch 4.000 barrels whale oil and 535 barrels of sperm oil. She intended to begin a voyage of 6 months before going home.
