Dutch navy desperately needing sailors according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 27 May 1860

An item reported that the Dutch navy was lacking enough sailors. For the crew of the steam frigate Zr.Ms. Zeeland came the needed sailors from all over. According to the rumours caused this personnel problem also that the paddle steam ship Zr.Ms. Bromo would not be commissioned in 1860.
