Sloops offered byDutch shipyard Kon.Mij. De Schelde at Vlissingen, Netherlands to Portuguese navy in 1931

On 27 January 1931 sent a tender to the Department of Navy at Lisbon, Portugal for building two sloops 2nd class according to the drawings and specifications of the shipyard ready for service although without armament (Vickers 40.175 pond sterling), ammunition, search light (500 pond sterling), smoke screen devices. Wireless device (4.500 pond sterling0, radio station (897 pond sterling) and gyroscopic compass set (1.567 pond sterling), price each sloop 94.990 pond sterling). First sloop to be delivered within 18 and the second within 22 months.
