French designed corvette for the Greek cause according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 14 July 1827

An item reported that in a French harbour a very skilled officer built a corvette of an extra ordinary design to be fitted out within 14 days for the Greek cause if some persons wanted to cooperate. She had on board accommodation for 30 officers and 200-250 sailors. Officers who wanted to support this project with money or other services were welcome for more information at the secretary of the Greek commission in the street Taranne no. 12.
