Dutch bark Admiraal de Winter bound for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 11 April 1860

An item dated Rotterdam, Netherlands 25 February referred to a private letter dated 29th January reporting that the Dutch bark ship Admiraal de Winter captain Hoek passed the position 39ºNorth latitude an 13º34’west longitude. Everything was well on board except for the captain who died some days ago. She was underway with troops from Rotterdam towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies.
