Dutch bark J.C. Schotel lost anchor and chain off Downs according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch handelsblad dated 21 July 1860

An item dated Ramsgate, England 29 May reported that the Dutch bark J.C. Schotel captain Holle lost yesterday her anchor and chain off Downs but after receiving new ones continued she her voyage on the 29th.
