Dutch frigate Kortenaer bound for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Dagblad van Zuidholland en ‘s-Gravenhage dated 17 April 1864

An announcement reported that the 973 measured tons/415 lasten extra ordinary fast Dutch frigate ship Kortenaer captain A.F. Schuchard was to depart Rotterdam, Netherlands in the first half of May bound for Batavia, Dutch East Indies. Excellent passenger accommodation, skilled doctor and milk giving cow on board.
