An item dated Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands 25 October reported that on the 18th the Aphophis arrived from Portsmouth, Eng;and with on board around 150 last of the cargo of the Dutch ship Van der Palm captain Marcus which latter ship arrived with damage at Portsmouth. The Van der Palm was underway from Java, Dutch East Indies towards Schiedam, Netherlands. After she undergone the most urgent repairs at Cowes arrived she on the 24th at Hellevoetsluis.
