Dutch warships Zr.Ms. Prins Willem Frederik Hendrik and Pallas bound for Curacao according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 31 March 1836

An item referred to newspapers received from Surinam reporting the departure of the Dutch transport Zr.Ms. Prins Willem Frederik Hendrik on 2 February towards Curacao. The Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Pallas (2) captain Buys departed on 24 January with the same destination.

1. Transport, launched at the shipyard of the Commercie Compagnie at Middelburg, Netherlands by F. Haverkamp on 10 September 1832, bought 1832, docked at the navy yard of Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands 20-25 November 1835, 24 October 1838-15 January 1839, 10-11 August 1840, 14-16 November 1843, 24-26 July 1844, 29 May-18 June 1845, 22-25 June 1847, 14 September-25 October 1849, 12-15 August 1851 and 20 September-14 October 1852, sold 1857, dimensions 33,70 x 9,14 x 3,80 metres and an armament of 8 guns.
2. Used for training duties, on stocks at the navy yard at Rotterdam, Netherlands November 1822 by P. Glavimans Jz., launched 29 November 1824, docked at the navy yard at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands 17 July-1September 1837 for examination, found further repaired unworthy and sold on a public auction for ƒ 5.000, dimensions 130 x 34½ x 17 8/11 (hold) feet and an armament of 28 guns.
