Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij (N.H.M.) hired Dutch ship Gerard Pieter Servatius as troop transport towards the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 11 May 1864

An item reported that the Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij (N.H.M.) hired the Dutch ship Gerard Pieter Servatius captain J. Wamsteker to transport 150 soldiers included 12 non-commissioned officers and 3-4 cabin passengers from the Netherlands towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies.
