An item reported the departure from Willemstad, Curacao on Thursday the 12th by the Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Panter captain lieutenant Buis towards St. Eustatius.(1)

Soetermeer, on 24 June 1823, launched on 8 April 1826, dry docked at the navy yard at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands 9 May-11 July 1837, sold on public auction at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies on Saturday 3 May 1845, dimensions 31,5 x 9,3 x 4,5 (depth of hold) metres and an armament 18 guns.
