An item reported the departure early in the morning from Willemstad, Curacao by the Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Panter captain lieutenant Buis towards Bonaire with on board general major J. van den Bosch, commissary general for the Dutch West Indies possessions.(1)

Soetermeer, on 24 June 1823, launched on 8 April 1826, dry docked at the navy yard at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands 9 May-11 July 1837, sold on public auction at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies on Saturday 3 May 1845, dimensions 31,5 x 9,3 x 4,5 (depth of hold) metres and an armament 18 guns.
