American whaler Huntress on 13th June at St. Helena according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 2 August 1859

A letter written by captain Allen on board of the bark Huntress of New Bedford, USA on the 13th June at St. Helena reported a catch of 155 barrels sperm oil since he departed St. Catharines, With the brig John Pearce were 203 barrels sperm oil and 1.100 lbs bone sent home. After a cruise around St. Helena was the next destination the African coast.(1)
