British ship Claverhouse underway from Siam towards Falmouth according to the Dutch newspaper De locomotief dated 13 January 1869

An item dated 2nd reported the passing of the Sunda Strait by the British ship Claverhouse captain Garden underway from Bangkok, Siam towards Falmouth, England.(1)

1. Captains’ name was G. Collie according to Lloyds, tonnage 405 tons, dimensions 140.0’ x 29.3’ x 15.6’, built in 1866 by Smith, Aberdeen, Scotland, owned by Cruikshank.
