An item dated Padang, Dutch East Indies24th reported the arrival in the roads on Saturday evening around 00.00 o’clock of the steamship Graaf van Nijland captain Van Emmerik with embarked 150 sick or wounded men form the battlefield. Strangely enough were the men next morning not immediately transported to the hospital. They had to wait for an unknown adjutant, which made the correspondent quite angry. Not earlier as 08.30 o’clock was started with the disembarking.
