Dutch whaling company at Amsterdam fitted again a whaler out according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 18 August 1845

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands Sunday 17th reported that the Maatschappij van Reederij tot de walvischvangst in the Zuidzee with as directors Gebrs. Reefs fitted out for the second time a whaler which would depart on short notice. The frigate Zuidpool captain T.A. Brunn and with a crew of 36 men was lying on the Y. More as a year ago was the Anna en Louisa fitted out which according to a tiding dated 13th January was in the Moluccas catching one sperm whale.
