Dutch 3rd charter Arnhem or ‘t Wapen van Arnhem1693-1721

Of the admirality Noorderkwartier, built at the navy yard at Enkhuizen, Netherlands in 1693, departed for West-Indië to join the British fleet against the French in begin March 1697, part of squadron lieutenant admiral Van Almonde which went to the Sont and bombarded Copenhagen in 1700, careened in 1710, ‘opgebracht en afgesneden’ in 1713, sold in 1721, dimensions 145 x 39¾ x 15, height deck 7¼, an armament of 64-66 (1702: 24-18pd, 22-12pd, 10-6pd, 4-4pd, 4-3pd) guns and a crew numbering 325-419 men. Establishment dated 15 february 1680: dimensions 145/123½ (keel) x 37½ x 14¼, height deck 7½, bak and halfdek 7. Commanding officers in 1696 captain D.Jzn. Cromhout, 1697 captain Gra(a)uw, died after 7 june of a plagye liking disease,1702 captain J. Roos.
