Venezuelan tug Rio Chama 1958-

Designed by Bureau Ir. E. van Dieren, Rotterdam, Netherlands. Built at the shipyard N,V. Machinefabriek&Reparatiebedrijf J.H. Keller, Rotterdam, Netherlands for account of C.A. Constructora Heerema,, Macaibo, Venezuela. Trial on 20 March and commissioned on 1 March 1958. Speed 20 knots. Dimensions 13,50 (between perpendiculars)-15,48 (over all) metres x 5,44 x 1,60 (maximum) metres. Fitted out with an air-cooled 2x150 hp at 500 rpm single acting Deutz 12L614 engine. Speed 20 knots. Very well manoeuvrable. Expected was that she in May would be transported with the Dutch motor ship Breda of the K.N.S.M. to Maracaibo.
