Laid down at the Korneuburger Schiffswerft A.G. Austria using a design
of Maierform S.A., Genf Switzerland on 21 March 1969, launched on 26 July,
commissioned on 16 April 1970 and decommissioned on 1 August on 1 August and
handed over to the Heeresgeschichtliche Museum on 16 November. She had to be
part of a class of patrol vessel to serve on the Danube
but was lacking a budget the only one realized. She was stationed at the Magdeburg barracks, Klosterneuburg,
Austria. With a
displacement of 73 tons (full load) were her dimensions 29,67 x 5,41 x 1,10 metres. Her crew numbered 9 men. The armament
consisted of 1-2cm Oerlikon anti aircraft gun, 1-12,7mm machine gun,
2x1-7.62,mm machine guns and 1-8,4cm Carl Gustav Par 66 mortar. The 2 MZWM
V16-diesels supplied 1.620 bhp allowing a speed of 22 knots and with a fuel
bunker capacity of 9,3 ton a range of 900 nautical miles/1.300 kilometres.
