British tug Granite City arrived at Gregnes towing the Dutch trawler IJm 101 according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 19 February 1904

An item dated Gregnes 15^th reported that the tug Granite City arrived in the harbour towing the trawler IJm 101 (Gerbrig, IJmuiden, Netherlands), the latter apparently damaged.(1)

1. Wood-built paddle steam tug, completed at the shipyard of Wouldhave&Johnson, North Shields, England for account of J.N. Newton, Aberdeen, Scotland in November 1882. Transferred to R. Taylor, Aberdeen in 1914, C.W. Robinson, Middlesbrough in February 1921, transferred to Tees Towing Company Limited  and managed by Robinson&Crosthwaite the same year, transferred to Kirton&Foster, Aberdeen in March 1922 to be broken up but stayed in service until she finally sunk on the Tyne at Blaydon Buoys on 13 August 1927. Gross register tonnage 113 tons and as dimensions 95.5’x 18.7’x 10,4’. Horsepower 40 nhp.
