Dutch tug trawler Pro et Contra (IJM 350) refused to assist the Dutch fishing vessel IJM 365 according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 28 September 1918

An item reported that the Centrale Bond van Transportarbeiders afdeling IJmuiden (Central Union of transport labourers department IJmuiden) wrote a letter to the Inspecteur van de Scheepvaart (Inspector for shipping) dealing with the events of the Dutch fishing vessel IJM 365. This vessel lost recently all her sails due to a storm when she was fishing off the Dutch coast. Unable to move were they floating around when the Dutch tug trawler Pro et Contra (IJM 350) master K. Blok passed. Blok however refused to help them just advice them to go to the harbour of Nieuwediep, Netherlands and he continued his voyage without helping them. The Dutch steam pilot boat IJM 465 picked later the crew of the IJM 365 up and brought them safely to IJmuiden, Netherlands.
