Dutch 3rd charter Tholen 1688-1690

Of the admiralty Zealand, built with subsidy in 1688, burnt in 1690, dimensions 145 x ? x ? feet, an armament of 60 guns and a crew numbering 325-330 men. In June 1690 part of squadron commanded by G. Callenburgh as part of fleet commanded by C. Evertsen the Youngest, left Texel, Netherlands on 2 July 1690, joined the off Wight the Dutch-British fleet, participated in the battle at Beachy Head against the French navy on 10 July 1690, in the bay of Rye near Dungeness grounded and burnt to avoid capture on 14 July 1690.
