Dutch tugs Poolzee and Zwarte Zee salvaged Greek steamship Creta according to the Dutch newspaper Friesch dagblad dated 27 November 1946

An item reported that the Dutch tugs Poolzee and Zwarte Zee immediately departed after the tidings tiding that the Swedish steamship Atair was in problems in the Bay of Biscay after loosing her screw in a storm. On 26th arrived the Black Sea with her at Falmouth, England. The Poolzee would depart with her the next day towards Newport, England. In the meantime departed the Zwarte Zee from Falmouth to support the Greek steamship Creta in the Bay of Biscay also with storm damage.
