British merchant ship captured by French privateer le Brave but recaptured by the British privateer Janvrin according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemse courant dated 9 March 1805

An item reported that the British ship Ruth underway from Newfoundland to the Clyde lost her rudder and surrendered to the French privateer le Brave but recaptured by the British privateer Janvrin of Guernsey and sent to Guernsey where she arrived on 21st February.
