Dutch vessel Schildpad 1741-1756

Of the admiralty Maze, first mentioned in 1741, sold 1756. Admiralty minutes dated 13 January 1756: buyer W. de Bois of naval vessel Schildpad refused to pay 2nd part of purchase money; admiralty minutes dated 27 January 1746: decided to sell the ship again if De Bois could not pay, on 3 February De Bois paid ƒ 225 and ship was released.
