Dutch warship Neptunus 1626-1631

Of the admiralty Noorderkwartier, built in 1626, still in service in 1631, an armament of 30 (1631: 2-24pd, 4-12pd, 4-6pd, 14-9pd, 2-7pd, 4-5pd)-34 (1631: 2-24pd, 4-12pd, 2-6pd, 14-9pd, 4-5pd, 2-7pd, 6 swivels) guns, a crew numbering 95-115 men and a tonnage of 240 last. In 1628 captain Jan Gijsz, 85 sailors, 30 musketeers, served off coast of Flanders and in 1631 cruising between the Vlie and Schagen, captain Govert Thoen.
