Dutch warship Schieland 1666-1694

Of the admiralty Maz, built by Jan Salomonsz van den Tempel at naval yard at Rotterdam, Netherlands in 1666, sold in 1694, dimensions 140 x 37 x 14-14’10”, height deck 7½ feet, an armament of 50-60 guns and a crew numbering 200 men. Present on 7 June 1672 at the battle at Solebay, in 1673 captain A. Poort, present on 7 and 14 June in the battles at Schooneveld, part of fleet De Ruyter. Commanding officers in 1672 Nicolaas Naaldhout, in 1688 Van Eden and in 1691 Van Halsteren. {15} In 1688 part of fleet which brought king-stadtholder William III to England.
