Dutch clipper frigate Oranje-Nassau lying at Rotterdam, Netherlands bound for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche courant dated 9 January 1864

An item reported that at Rotterdam, Netherlands was lying the Dutch clipper frigate Oranje-Nassau captain G. Strang van Hees bound for Batavia and Surabaya, Dutch East Indies. 1. According to the Staat der Nederlandsche Zeemagt en Koopvaardij-vloot op 1 Januarij 1864 captain G. Stranf van Hees, flag no. 463 Rotterdam, owners De Groot, Roelants&Co., homeport Schiedam, built in 1861 and tonnage 761 tons.
