Captain of Dutch bark Jacobus Johannes temporarily replaced by first mate according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 18 July 1887

An item dated Rotterdam, Netherlands 15th referred to a tiding of the shipping company reporting the replacement of captain Pettersen of the Dutch bark ship Jacobus Johannes by his first mate decided the shipping agents at Java, Dutch East Indies caused the illness of the captain.(1)
