Dutch 8th charter Spion 1748-1757

Of the admiralty Amsterdam, built by Charles Bentam at naval yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1748, stricken and sold in 1757, one gun deck, dimensions (Amsterdam foot) 100 x 27 x 10 and an armament of 14 guns. Commanded in 1748 by Hendrik Cornelis Steenis. One source called her a ‘bomschip.’
