Norwegian bark Sylvia towed into the harbour of Nieuwediep, Netherlands after salvage according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 1 April 1887

An item dated Nieuwediep, Netherlands 30th March reported that the Norwegian bark Sylvia captain Larsen underway from Drammen, Norway towards Purmerend, Netherlands was stranded by Falga but salvaged by the tugs Hercules and Stad Amsterdam and undamaged towed towards Nieuwediep.
