Dutch 8th charter Beschutter 1784-1794

Of the admiralty Maze, also called cutter and brigantine, built at Rotterdam, Netherlands by F. van Zwijndregt, bought at Oostende, Belgium in 1784, between 1786 and 1794 condemned and sold, dimensions 87 x 30 x 11 feet, 14 (6pd guns)-20 guns (pierced for 20) and a crew numbering 70 men. On 1 august 1786 decided to lighter the armament, brigantine, 10 August authorized to present the ship for sale. The available archival sources supplying different details about her origin and final fate.
