Italian firm building submarines in Japan according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1917/1918 no. 3

An item reported that at the shipyard of the Kawasaki Company in Japan submarines of the Laurenti-type were to be built by the Italian company Fiat of San Giorgio, Italy.
