Polish inland paddle steamship (ex- Pritky) ORP General Sosnkowski 1920-1939
Used by Russia as the gunboat Prtiky until Polish forces captured her in 1920. Apparently she was scuttled and refloated in the years 1920-1921. In the beginning serving on the Prypec river until 1927 when she was stationed at Gdynia. Here was this inland vessel used as a training ship for the Polish mine and torpedo service even at sea. In 1930 she was stationed at Pirisk where she was rebuilt as a hospital ship. She served in the Riverine flotilla which in September 1939 should defended the Prypec river against the invading German forces. The Russian invasion of Poland made an end of this plan and she was scuttled on 17 September 1939 by her own crew to prevent a capture by the Russian forces. Refloated and used as hospital ship in Russian service and scuttled on 6 September 1941. Raised in 1944 and retaken into service.
