China reorganizing her navy according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1906-1907 no. 10
An item referred to the De Tribune reporting that the Chinese cabinet decided to organize the navy into 4 squadrons stationed in the Yellow Sea at the island Tsjao-tsjan, Miaotao group, in the Gulf og Petsjili Jang-Tsjing mear Wei-hai-wei along the coast of Sjantoeng, at the islands Hsiang sjan in the Ssjoisan archipelago and Pak-hoi in the South Chinese Sea. The naval department decided to found an academy at Tientsin and 4 naval schools where officers for the new Chinese naval force were to be trained by British and Japanese instructors.
