Details of the new American Paulding-class destroyers Nos. 37-42 according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 11

An item reported that the new American destroyers No. 37-42 (1) had a displacement of 742 (trial) tons and as dimensions 88 (between perpendiculars) x 7,9 metres. Fuel oil bunker capacity 210, during the trial just 90 ton. Minimum speed 29,5 miles. Armament consisted of 5-7,6cm quick firing L/50guns, 2 machineguns and 3-45cm connected torpedo tubes.

1. Modified Paulding-class destroyers. The DD 37-42 were the Fanning, Jarvis, Henley. Beale, Jouett and Jenkins, all laid down in 1911, commissioned in 1912 and decommissioned in 1919.
