Spanish destroyer Destructor 1885 according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1889 no. 1

Built by Thomson, Clydebank, Scotland in 1886, displacement 386 tons and as dimensions 58,74 x 7,65 x 2,10 (medium) metres. Proportion beam : length 0,129. The triple steam machinery and locomotive boiler supplied 3.800 ihp allowing a speed of 22,56 knots. Coal bunker capacity 106 tons. Coal consumption per hour per ihp 0,910 (economic speed)-1,110 (forced speed) kilo.

1. Building ordered in 1885, laid down by James and George Thomson, Clydebank on 14 November 1885, launched on 26 July 1886, commissioned on 19 January 1887, decommissioned on 1 January 1908 and for sale in December 191 and finally broken up. Also called a torpedo gunboat.
