Turkish navy lacking enough ships for stationing at Fundukli according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens 1896 nr. 3

An item reported that the Turkish minister of navy answered the sultan that it was not possible to station at once 3 warships at Fundukli. One ship was directly available, the two other ships needed 2 months to be fitted out costing 30.000 Turkish pond.
