Sale of American protected cruiser USS Charleston approved according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 6 February 1930

An item dated Washington, USA 5th reported that the temporarily American Secretary of Navy approved the sale of 6 condemned cruisers including the Charleston (1) for 286.000 US dollars.
